The calm before the storm… literally. Emily and Matt’s rehearsal dinner was not only the eve of their wedding day, but the eve of a hurricane on Nantucket Island. I’m so glad they added on rehearsal dinner coverage so they were able to get outside for a few portraits on their wedding weekend! I arrived to Straight Wharf Restaurant where I photographed the space before Emily and Matt arrived. We snuck out to Old North Wharf for portraits - Emily in a beautiful hydrangea dress and Matt in a handsome blazer & slacks. They then went back to Straight Wharf where they greeted guests and mingled while enjoying some cocktails. The night was so beautifully done, with a yummy dinner, thoughtful speeches, and gorgeous details.
